The one and only factor you need considering about CRM implementation is its testing. The software has to be tested properly before it is incorporated in the computer system. It is necessary to test the software as it is the only way to determine usability of the software application. 

If the CRM works perfectly on testing, it can be incorporated in the system. For testing, you need making an mock server and loading the server with the existing app you use. Check that the software is compatible with the existing apps. Since ou will the software on mock server, there should be no worries as your business process willl keep running in the main server. You can check that the software is working well with other apps and then decide to take it to the main server. 

One more factor you need keeping in mind regarding CRM implementation is its usability. Let your team members try the app and give their opinion on the app. The team membes can see whether they are able to use the app. And also they can see whether they need training on the app. It is only at testing stage that you can determine usability and compatibility of the app.
